Community-Based Full-Spectrum Doula, CHW & CLE | Advocate | Mother | Grandmother
Rooted in Love. Grounded in Service. Called to Birthwork.
Natasha Pulliam is a San Francisco native, proud mother of five, and grandmother to two beautiful children both of whom she had the honor of supporting as a doula during their births. Her journey into birthwork is deeply personal, generational, and spirit-led. As a community-based full-spectrum doula, Natasha is dedicated to supporting birthing people of color through culturally-grounded, holistic, and empowering care.
From a young age, Natasha was immersed in the spirit of holistic healing and service, assisting her aunt in community organizing and witnessing her great grandmother heal many with herbs throughout San Francisco. Her early exposure to advocacy, healing and grassroots support laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to uplifting her people.
Natasha brings a unique, trauma-informed lens to her doula practice, having worked extensively in the fields of affordable housing, mental health and substance use recovery. These experiences have shaped her understanding of the systemic challenges many families face, especially during the vulnerable perinatal period. She bridges the gap by connecting families to essential services, advocating for their needs within institutions, and ensuring that birthing people feel seen, heard, and held.
What sets Natasha apart is her unwavering compassion, deep ancestral wisdom, and lived experience. She believes that birth is not just a medical event but a sacred rite of passage that deserves dignity, joy, and full-spectrum support. Whether she’s guiding a first-time parent, holding space after loss, or uplifting teen mothers, Natasha serves with grace, resilience, and cultural pride.
Through her doula work, Natasha is not just helping babies come into the world she’s nurturing stronger families, more resilient communities, and a future where every birthing person of color is honored, protected, and celebrated.
